Bread Bonda / Fried Bread

Chickpea flour
बेसन
1 cup
Asafoetida
हींग
1/4 tbs
Cooking Soda
खाना पकाने सोडा
A pinch
Chilli Powder
लाल मिर्च पाउडर
1 tbs
Salt
नमक
To taste
Oil
तेल
For deep frying


Preparations:
  1. In a bowl prepare a batter of chickpea flour by adding 1/4 glass of water, salt, flour, asafoetida, cooking soda and chilli powder.
  2. Prepare a thick batter and there should not be any lumps.
  3. Cut the bread slices into desired shape and keep aside.
  4. In a deep pan heat oil, dip each piece of bread into the batter and fry in a medium flame.
  5. Let it be crisp and golden brown in color.
  6. Serve hot along with chutney's or ketch up.
